WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Registration

To register with careerprivacy.com you need provide at least an email address and password and agree to our Candidate Terms and Conditions in addition to this privacy policy.

Profile Information

Having registered with careerprivacy.com you are provided with the options of adding to your profile. A completed careerprivacy.com greatly assists you in connecting with potential employers, receiving expressions of interest and receiving other relevant information. You can add your career status, career interests, education, qualifications, skills, work history and remuneration expectations.

If you select that you interested in temporary work opportunities and secure work through careerprivacy.com we are required to collect further personal data including your name, tax and social security details, address and confirm your entitlement to work.

Requests for Information from Recruiters on the system

By default the following fields are not visible within your profile:
Name
Profile Picture
Names of Previous Employers

You may receive direct requests for enhanced access to your profile (a “Full Profile” request) from other users of careerprivacy.com including those with recruitment requirements. It is at your discretion as to whether you provide enhanced access to your profile including your name, profile picture and names of previous employers. Your email address is not disclosed to recruiters on careerprivacy.com at any time. You may receive requests from recruiters to be notified when you have a change of career status, for example when you are actively looking for a new position (a “Watchlist” request). It is at your discretion as to whether you provide watchlist access to your profile. You can disable Full Profile and Watchlist profile access at any time.

We provide traditional recruitment services including making candidate recommendations to employers. If we wish to share this information for Premier recruitment services we will secure your permission first.

Any information that you upload using our services is covered by this Privacy Policy and the Candidate Terms and Conditions. You can request your profile be removed at any time by emailing us at unsubscribe@careerprivacy.com.

We collect information when you are are using our premier services, websites, application, technology and other services. This includes for example what search terms you have used. We use this information to enhance our services and ensure our Users receive the best experience and most suitable notification. We also may collect through cookies about usage information and log data such as your IP address.

Cookies

We use cookies to identify you during your use of our services. You are able to control cookies within your browsers. By using our services you consent to the placement of cookies and in your browser and emails in accordance with this privacy policy.

Advertising

We do not share your personal information with any third parties for advertising purposes. It should be noted that your profile as described above and subject to your privacy controls is visible, subject to those placing advertisements and notifications.

Information about your devices

When you visit or leave our Services (whether as a Member or Visitor) by clicking a hyperlink or when you view a third-party site that includes our plugin or cookies (or similar technology), we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came or the one to which you are directed. Google Analytics
We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

The information you provide to us may allow other users to identify you even your identity is not expressly made public on your profile. We have designed our services to minimise the possibility of this occuring through hiding certain information from your profile until you accept either a watchlist or full profile request from another user or company. When providing personal information you expressly and voluntarily accept the terms of this privacy policy and agree to the ways we will process that information in accordance with this privacy statement. You can withdraw your consent by requesting we remove your profile at any time by emailing remove@careerprivacy.com.

Communications

We provide you with automated notifications when a User views your profile, you receive a watchlist request or full profile request and when posts of interest to you are submitted by other users, for example job postings. Notifications can be via sms and/or email.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

We offer a “Candidate Non-Public” area within your profile. This information will never be shared with third parties, unless with your consent, or as required by law.

It should be noted that all other information may be viewed by third party users subject to the privacy controls mentioned above. All other information may also be searchable by third party users.

We do not rent or sell your personal information directly. We charge companies and recruiters for the various functionality that we offer such as watchlist requests, full profile requests and job postings.

Searches

You can search employers, recruiters, vacancies and general posts made by third party users on the system. These searches are highly targeted through a common data set being presented to both the candidate and the party making the post.

Premier Services

We provide a Premier recruitment service in addition to our profiling tools. That service may include the creation of a pdf version of your profile including your personal information including your name and previous employers. These packs are to assist employers in evaluating your suitability for a position. We will inform you who we wish to send the information to and the reason why and will not distribute these profile packs without your express consent.

Data

Whilst in existence we retain your profile information. If you have closed your account we may retain information to allow us to meet legal and regultaory obligations. Our sales and marketing team may retain your contact information including your name, address and contact details indefinitely.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We will notify you of any changes to our privacy policy by email.

Regulatory and Legal Compliance
We may be required to disclose personal information if required by law or legal processes. We will use best practice to ascertain whether such disclosure is legal and that the request is in good faith. We will endeavour to inform you of such requests wheresoever possible.

Your rights

You have a right to (1) access, modify, correct, or delete your personal information controlled by careerprivacy.com regarding your profile, (2) change or remove your content, and (3) close your account by emailing us remove@careerprivacy.com.

Security

We have implement HTTPS access to site as well as SSL access from mobile devices. Your passowrd should be a strong password containing both letters, numbers, symbols and different cases.
